Yes FL does die in OG if I remember correctly, but way late in the show. Before that they have very strong story. Proper build up for FL to prove her innocence, aunt and cousin getting exposed, leads naturally slowly falling for each other, youngest brother marrying third sister, FL handling business becoming famous etc, so FL dying comes way later. Here they have not have anything like this. OG was really strong
