Yup she’s meeti churri and that’s why she’s far more dangerous and evil than the likes of Komolika, Mandira and others. She drugged and sexually assaulted Mihir when he trusted her as a friend. Then again kept lying to him before and after that too. She pretended to be a well wisher of Tulsi but hurt her too. That’s why I hate her. Such people are far more dangerous. I think Mihir trusted her more than he did Mandira because Noina was his old college friend and someone from the past with long history. Also, she played the matchmaker for Pari’a wedding when it was about to break, saved his life from that fire and basically in his mind there for him

People like her exist irl too; that’s why we hear about affairs between someone’s spouse and their best friend; the two people you probably want to see get along the most as you love them both and each one of them is extremely important to you.

Here they made Noyna Mihir’s friend because they wanted to show her obsession goes way back and so she wasn’t a friend of Tulsi’s but again the message is same and clear; that no matter how good a friend is someone to you - they don’t have a place in your marriage and too much of anything, including trust can be a bad thing. Mihir didn’t know when to keep his marriage and friendship apart and similarly Tulsi had too much of faith. We even see her recalling the scene when Noyna took away Mihir’s clothes from the office for washing; how Mihir immediately agreed to stay with her when she was offering to take care of him. Even Gayatri warned her though that was not a warning but more of a taunt; yet she was onto something. It showed Tulsi was too trusting for her own good; again. She even bought Hemant’s lame lies about the US trip.

In a way this is a track that shows how two people can be too blinded in their own ways that they don’t even realise when a third person crept in between them and that never is a good thing and this can happen to a couple regardless of their ages.

I grew up listening to old Hindi songs and this situation kinda reminds me of a verse from one of my mom’s favourite songs. I listen to these songs now because I miss them and because the lyrics are absolute gold. There too the situation is owing to a friend, coincidentally, though there’s no EMA, as we know. The husband however finds out his wife had been in love with someone prior to their marriage, finds that she’s still kept his love letters and can’t stop thinking about them and goes crazy wondering who he was and why they separated, why she married him, is she still in love with her ex.

Call that man what you may but Raj Kapoor’s movies based on human emotions will always resonate no matter how modern we get. Truly timeless movies.

Sunte hain pyaar ki duniya mein

Do dil mushkil se samaate hain

Kya gair vahan apnon tak ke

Saaye bhi na aane paate hain - (x2)

Humne aakhir kya dekh liya

Kya baat hai kyoon hairaan hain hum

Ek dil ke do armaan hain hum

O mere sanam, o mere sanam

From the movie Sangam; sung by the legends Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh.

Did she also cast namik pranali in bhagya 4 and Parineeti casting?

Regarding naagin logically cast is good.chandni was always deemed to be better actress in jhanak. Priyanka did very well in udaariyaan also in big boss. Makes sense. Also have to keep in mind the actors like sakshi hiten etc aren't cheap. There is a reason smriti had body double. Sakshi must have taken good pay for her cameo. In today's itv there is truly lack of talent + good looks so casting director is doing as per market.

Whatever promo is there is bakwas i think let the epis come maybe priyanka will prove everyone wrong

Agree; budget is a reason but so is social media. The people who made it to the top of TV back then had to struggle to get work, rarely were they lucky like Saakshi who was spotted by Ekta’s maasi Nim Sood while she was accompanying her mama or mausa to the shoot. Her uncle was delivering the sarees for the shooting and took her along to give her a chance to see some shooting while she was in Mumbai for a short holiday.

These actors were however required to compete with similarly talented contemporaries across channels. The only way to stay relevant was to be good. Today’s actors are more social media personalities and influencers than actors in truth. Back then you were either worth someone’s 20 minutes or you were out. In the social media era people go viral for the craziest and cringiest things and they get cast on shows. It even works the other way around - everyone wants to be relevant on social media once they get a show irrespective of what shade they are playing. It’s about likes on social media over the audience genuinely liking your skills as an actor because once you get popular on social media platforms you get brand endorsements and promotion deals that pay you well for. And for these things you have to post as often as possible so their attention is on gaining likes from that audience with a 30 seconds attention span rather than the audience with a 20 minute attention span.

Previously you had to compete with hundreds if not thousands for any important roles on any show. Now you just need that one stupid reel to go viral.

She’s the closest thing to a mother that Tulsi had as we know and so it makes sense that in this moment when she’s at her lowest, when her pain is insurmountable; she seeks the solace of the only mother she ever knew. Even if it’s a hallucination, it makes sense.

I love how when Savita is unable to stop her she literally has Krishna himself appear to save and help her.

We believe Pitrus are always close to god, and that smooth transition between the two scenes was as if Savita herself pleaded with Krishna to save his bhakt and he answered.

I really wanna see where they take this scene tonight.

The actor is from the movie Lallo, currently the highest grossing Gujarati movie in India ever. It has crossed over a 100 crores in business and is about Krishna appearing to help a devotee of his there too similarly played by this very actor. Very interesting crossover.

I loved the whole episode where Savita consoles her bahu and thakurji blesses her bhakt

I dont get much emotional over this stuff as a gen z

But tulsi and Savita were magical.Like it was full of love and care.Unlike the age old saas torturing bahu trope they actually showed both actually supporting each other.

Tulsi crying that she wants to die was so emotional. It portrayed that she gave her life and soul for her family like many indian mothers and now everything is finished for her.

Thakurji coming to bless and save tulsi was peak of ITV.

I liked the fact they didnt show "another man" to save her or rescue her.

I really liked the fact that Tulsi will now tackle this next phase on her own.

In fact this is the feminism we need in ITV.

Women walking on the path of light from darkness on their own.

They recreated the OG scene and I am still biased towards that scene over this new one because the acting there was phenomenal. I am yet to find two actors who can top that on TV and let me tell you I am not Gen Z smiley36

Savita and Tulsi had the quintessential Saas Bahu bond. They loved each other once Savita’s anger cooled down; and she was angry because Mihir Tulsi had eloped… They fought each other, but if it was necessary they even supported each other.

There is a scene in S1 where Savita asks Tulsi to get back Ansh once his identity is revealed. Tulsi says she’s unsure if he can be ever a Virani in truth, how his upbringing is different and he may not be able to handle this family at all, how he may not be the son they all want him to be and that could be very difficult for this family, yet Savita asks her to get him home because he’s theirs. Tulsi tries but Ansh rejects her and insults her badly. Later an article gets published about his true identity in newspapers and Ansh gets mad and arrives at SN where he rudely tells Tulsi that if she was so desperate for money she could have simply told him her asking price and he would have signed a cheque to shut her up for good, why did she go to the press to reveal things. The first one to respond against this insult of Tulsi’s was Savita and she did so by slapping Ansh and throwing him out of the house. She goes onto say she was wrong about asking Tulsi to get him back. She got carried away by emotions but she shouldn’t have done that. She even tells Ansh upfront that he doesn’t deserve to be called a son of Tulsi’s because his behaviour doesn’t reflect her character one bit.

Savita could taunt Tulsi, argue with her but also fought for her against her own sons and grandsons when needed fiercely.

Old Hindi movies loved the evil saas trope but irl this relationship is complicated but it can also be loving. One archetype doesn’t fit all.

This breakdown of Tulsi’s had her more vulnerable because even last time she didn’t talk of dying but then again we hear her mentioning how she had support systems in elders that she knew she could count on - she had Baa and she had Savita - two women she knew would stand with her over even Mihir and that was all she needed. Now she has no elder to support her. Daksha is not home all the time and the equation isn’t the same as it was with Baa and Savita. Gayatri is well….

Then there are taunts about her appearance from strangers but more importantly her own daughter too that have eaten away at her confidence slowly. That’s why she mentions how Mihir had one duty, one thing she asked of him - to give her some respect and some love. That’s all she asked - for her to be able to have some dignity and feel loved. But he took away even that from her… in this stage of life at that - hence her death wish.

Thakurji coming for her was a reminder that everything we feel including love, hurt, anger etc. are limited to this body alone and we keep changing bodies like clothes until we all return to the source of our creation. These emotions keep us from liberating ourselves, as is said in Gita - the path to liberation requires us to rise above our expectations, emotions and desires. At the end of the day no matter which name we go by, where we are born, what we look like, whichever body we have donned as our new clothes in this cycle of karma the only eternal truth is one - we all are alone in this journey and our only companion is also the one who is our source and our destination all rolled into one.

It also was a message to those struggling with mental health and depression, those having similar thoughts to Tulsi’s for whatever reason - don’t give up, don’t feel alone and lonely - even if you feel alone you are not, you just need to remember you have that higher power with you always regardless of how you address that power - whether you call that Supreme Divine as Thakurji, as Maa, as Bholenath or as Murugan or something else. Go seek that one shelter that is always available, the one who will never shun you or deny you - who loves you truly and has always been with you and will be with you across all your lifetimes and even beyond.

My only gripe with that scene is the weird AI.

instead of this noyona mihir crap

show diff bet good bahu vil bahu

marry mitali to parth and show diff bet good bahu vrinda and bad bahu vrinda

ssomething like this was better than showing 60 plus having a woman running after them

in india any 50 plus women running after a man is next to impossible especially a married 60 year old mihir

yes if you are very rich like mihir virani than 30 plus year olds can run after you for your wealth but

a 58 year old women running after 58 year old man tough

USA may be yes thats also very rare even in usa 60 year old richie rich marry or have affairs with 30 plus young women only not another 60 plus

Times may have changed but rich men never change

before we have heard 40 year old akbar married 15 year old princess (princess Rukmavati bai married akbar) but have you heard a 40 year old princess marry a emperor whose 20 years of age not really

This advantage only men have that even at 60 years they can marry a 25 or 30 year old if they have huge wealth whether 16th century or 21st century

tulsi should go to baa house and live there with Shoba and angad may be (karan and gautam are not seen)
