Pehle bhi when he saw her with Neel he gave extreme reaction. At his age one would think he has evolved and thinks like a mature adult. And he talked about TRUST all the time jo door door tak nahin hain Anu par.

Poor girl was traumatized just a day before and managed to pull off everything for the party and even hand painted a gift for his mother.

Instead of peeping at him for approval Anu should have just ignored him back.

Anu had several occasions to question him that beggar and Jalandhar repeatedly asked her not to trust him but never for once he questioned Arya for that she wholeheartedly trusts him that's for sure
