Not really... at the beginning, single screen theatres in not so big cities hadn't much occupation or didn't even offered the movie...that certainly has changed since Sunday (imo).

Unnecessary negativity against the movie from terrorist supporters propelled people like me to actually promote the movie in our group, I didn't care about it before

Now I am telling you, 4 of my friends texted me to watch Dhurandhar, it was being discussed in our chat group too

Best thing is that the movie is very good

Yeah, I read about all the original persons... and I don't expect to get to see a movie honest to the happenings and persons, the movie-story is inspired by... but it definetly would be a good experience to compare the movie-story with the known historical facts... that (and the performances) is the reason why I will try to watch the movie as soon as possible in a theatre. In my area (with about 1 h driving), there only are late evening shows (which is not possible for me at the moment).

Some people claim that Dhurandhar is an anti-Muslim film, similar to The Kashmir Files or The Kerala Story, which were actually exaggerated versions and portrayed the entire Muslim community in that particular area as problematic. But many of them don’t seem to understand what actually constitutes an anti-Muslim narrative. A few years ago, Parvathy Thiruvoth even said that her film Take Off was Islamophobic, but both Take Off and Dhurandhar portray events inspired by real incidents. While in Take Off the subject was ISIS attacks in Iraq and the incident of freeing a group of Malayali nurses stuck in a hospital there, in Dhurandhar the plot is about a terrorist attack that happened in India and was planned by a Pakistan-based wing. Yes, the makers may have taken cinematic liberties, but it’s also true that terrorism has been a real threat in places like Iraq, Pakistan, and even at our own borders.

If certain groups are promoting these films only for their own political agenda rather than for their cinematic value, that is definitely a concern. But not every movie that depicts Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism automatically becomes an anti-Muslim story. Showing the actions of extremist groups is not the same as targeting an entire religion.

Watched it. Loved it.

This is Ranveer Singh film, bc launde ne jo kaam kiya hai, hatts off to his dedication to his character & giving 100% to this film.

Aur haan, Instagram filled with Akshaye's Dance moves & saying "Saari film ek taraf, this song ek taraf", sab ghantey ki fake promotion hai, kuch nahi vibe hai, Akshaye's work is good, but not this much that bc janta pagal ho rakhi hai smiley36

Teaser confusing/impersonating tha, Trailer showed a different side and Film has delivered all together epic result.

A New kind of Spy thriller, with details about attacks/operation of India-Pak spy war. Music, background score & gore voilence, so much blood, sab kuch hai top ka.

Unnecessary & without any logic, Aditya Dhar this time gave few film's character full on Gaaliyan, slangs, maa-bhen, Male ling names, everything, which we like sometimes, but here jo chahiye bhi nahi the, aivein ghused rakhe the. Agar ye na karta toh iss film ki audience expand ho jaati. You can't watch this with your family, as some dialouges will embarass you like anything. GOW kind of film you expect this, here maker of URI is bringing you this kind of language, jo agar na bhi hoti, film would have been on different level. Shared it earlier also, yes, we love to see these kind of languages, but with the flow, not forced here n there, blend it nicely, we won't mind.

Film mein kuch aisa nahi hai jo humne dekha nahi, Ek Tha Tiger started it, and ab hum bahut saare versions dekh chuke hai, so nothing New from that story side. What makes this film special is treatment of story & presentation.

Ek URI ke end mein Vicky ka aggression mein dialouge tha ki "Hamaare ghar mein ghus ke maara tha na hamaare bhaiyon ko, ye uska jawaab hai", was expecting this kind of anger from Ranveer's character. Hamza, his character was given different approach, like Hrithik's character in Agneepath was totally different from original one.

All 4, Akshaye, Arjun, madhavan & Sanjay had done good work. Akshaye had a bigger role than 3 with Ranveer.

There was no need for part 2 of film, befajool ki love story ghussa rakhi thi, usey short kar dete & 1 film mein hi solid impact aata. Sara's debut was not upto the mark, pata nahi kion cast kiya.

Ranveer is the Soul of this film, what a work he has done from 1st frame to last, jo ghussa hai character mein, woh bc pathaani suit mein jo jacha hai launda. There is a below the belt scene(explicit), but he did it with sincereity, koi vulgarity nahi aani di. Woh lambe baal, darhi, look, he gave it all. Diction of language to speak like a baloch.

Waiting for Part 2 eagerly on 19th March 2026.

Rating: 4/5.
