I now really am curious to know how she does fake marriage to KD and why? Because, unlike OG Daya does accept in his heart that KD is his son. And you mention KD knows that as well. So there is no need for them to go to khandekar as a married couple. If Daya tells Kaushiki and Tarini goes to daya he will accept KD. Unless Tarini plans this fake marriage to get Yuvi. This is the only way for her to get to their house. Given the scenario, they actually are adopting base story from OG so KD-Tarini fake marriage needs to happen.

I do not know about Mitwa, but they hyped TTM and promoted it so much even then TRP dropped let alone to stay unchanged. This means makers do need to smell the coffee
