Honestly I don't get you...

Being civil for a family week episode doesn’t magically erase someone’s boundaries or past issues. People behave nicely when guests come .. that’s basic courtesy, not a sign that everything is suddenly rosy behind the scenes.

And Not just everyone was nice with his wife, he also was nice to everyone's family member...but Just because Gaurav laughed in a group moment doesn’t mean he feels emotionally close or comfortable with everyone there. Humans can be polite and still maintain distance. They can smile for five minutes and still not want certain people in their personal space. That’s normal.

And “they didn’t do anything drastic” is not even the point here.. boundaries don’t require drama to be valid. If someone feels uncomfortable, they can voice it. Simple. It’s not measured by how serious you,me or anyone else think the behaviour was.
