Chennai Super Kings have released the most number of players: 11.

This includes four overseas players in Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Matheesha Pathirana and Sam Curran (traded to Rajasthan Royals).

They’ve also clearly had enough of their misfiring middle order from IPL 2025. Andre Siddarth goes out (without getting a game), as do Deepak Hooda, Rahul Tripathi, Shaikh Rasheed and Vijay Shankar.

Dewald Brewis remains as expected, as does Gurjapneet Singh, whose injury paved way for the big-ticket replacement buy.

They will have a purse of 43.4 crore INR heading into the auction.

Pant should move out of lsg. He's not happy there. He should not be a captain and enjoy batting.

Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan has called the decision to trade Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran to Rajasthan Royals in exchange for Sanju Samson "one of the toughest" the franchise has ever taken, stressing that the move was driven by transition planning and the scarcity of Indian top-order options in the upcoming mini-auction
