I really liked this little moment..Neetu was standing at a distance with guilt and fear thinking Vik has become Aman now....That brief hesitation spoke about a mother's regret , her fear of losing a son she once claimed as her own...Once she realised he is still her Vikrant , she ran towards him and hugged him close..all the emotions burst out ! That hug was not just affection , felt like it was redemption , a silent plea asking for his forgiveness 
It is definitely hard to completely sympathise with Neetu Saluja , but despite her flaws and misdeeds she has always loved Vik with a mix of obsession and motherly protectiveness..Kind of felt this scene was just too good and spoke about her haq and apnapan on Vik which has gone for a toss now !
