Park Seo Joon reveals what role he did like to play in a Bollywood movie as Surely Tomorrow is set for release

Korean drama star Park Seo-joon is one of the most recognized faces from the industry worldwide. He will be seen in Surely Tomorrow in December 2025. The show is coming on Prime Video. Park Seo-joon plays the role of an investigative reporter in the rom-com. Won Ji-An is his leading lady. Fans have seen her in Squid Game 2 and recently in Tempest where she was Kang Hanna. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Park Seo-joon said he is always excited to work with overseas production teams. He said he would like to explore Bollywood if he got an opportunity. Park Seo-joon said he would like to play a Korean diplomat who gets a chance to reside in India. He thinks it would be a fun idea.

This is not the first time he expressed a desire to be a part of a Bollywood project. We hope that filmmakers are listening to this. He said he found the role of Lee Gyeong Do, a journalist, a very relatable one. Seo-Joon said most men have gone through what happens with Gyeong Do in his life at least once in their lifetime. He said playing the emotional part of the character was great fun. His last show on Netflix Gyeongseong Creature got mixed reviews but people liked him as the charismatic but rebellious Jang Taesang.

Park Seo-joon said acting makes him feel liberated. He said he is very reserved and cautious in his real life, and tends to supress his emotions. However, when he is in front of the camera, he feels he can let go and not worry about anything or anyone.

“I feel the most free when I am acting. In real life, I think I tend to be more cautious, and I’m more reserved and suppress a lot. However, when I am acting out a scene and performing, I feel like everything becomes legal. So that’s a moment when I like to lose control and be completely free.”

In his career, he has been part of blockbuster shows like Fight for My Way, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim and Itaewon Class. He are global hits making him a very recognized face from the industry. Park Seo-joon says he never took this seriously and just wants to focus on what is on hand.
