I watched a couple of his IVs. I agree on the unfairness part - but I find some of it quite second hand embarrassing and overcompensation - what with his aura and all being too much - very OTT and off putting. Baseer himself didn’t start off with an open mind by looking down on the contestants and sticking to that mindset even now - ke what I meant by that statement was the quality wasn’t like previous seasons - even in terms of celebrity stature - which I’m sorry, but I didn’t know who Baseer was when I began watching either - so yeh bhi koi SRK toh hain nahi.

And I felt it wasn’t a positive moment for Amla - ek toh BB calling him for this lovely counseling session - and him needing someone to control him? I think that more validates what his detractors are saying.

Baaki I agree that Baseer wasn’t given feedback or guidance like the others, and that others have gotten away with objectionable statements. But Baseer’s choices towards the second half of his stay there weren’t smart IMO - and choosing to put GK in the nomination pool was very short sighted.

Can i just add. Not a fan of Baseer but i did like it when he did give his POV on matters.

Plus there is a difference between being friends and babysitting one.

He did not come to the show to do that. On the other hand he was busy trying to create showmance. He actually didnt need that at all.

I am sure most of the time he spent on taking care or Amaal, Farhana, and then Nehal. He couldnt get into the game properly. On top of that no feedback on weekends.

On the stupidity of him nominating Gk i’ve been calling out his stupidity for falling right in to makers plans ever since that ep aired but again without any sort of guidance on wkw and being in complete isolation u can form wrong opinions about other contestants popularities

And the possible positive moment for amaal showing a human factor in him was his breakdown on baseer leaving which wasn’t shown in the episode
