I think the below rule should be removed or modified because sometimes we might have to refer to discussions of another thread when the characters are linked. The rule can be modified a bit and not be rigid.

Discussion of former threads

Discussions of any former thread of the main forum shouldn't happen in current thread. The discussions of one thread should remain in that thread.
