Make it more enjoyable - Who decided the participants weren't enjoying? Since this sentence mentions racing... which is an indirect reference to our team...please go ahead and ask every member whether they enjoyed the planning, the thrill of trying to be first, trying to read quick, etc. or not. Some of the slow readers found the team energy contagious and wound up reading a lot quicker... kisi ko push nahi kiya gaya.. they stepped up on their own. No one was assigned tasks... everyone chose their own.. and we made strategies around it... not by bulldozing through the slow readers are forcing them to read something they wouldn't enjoy or pushing them to do more. Yes we chose shorter reads... but it was still done while keeping every member's taste in mind. Every rec was made after asking for preferred genres... in fact we took ages to finalize some of the books bcz we were trying optimize between something short enough to get the task finished quicker but also keep to what the reader liked to read. Fav authors.. or on the contrary disliked authors.. sab discuss hua hai... so why assume we read things for merely the race without enjoying them? Dono kyu nahi ho sakta? The whole point of this challenge was to increase group activity and motivate reading... I think both points got ticked fair and square.

It was for this exact reason I insisted that the bingo shouldn't be compulsory (which it was when the idea was originally pitched). Jisko apni pace pe shanti se enjoy karna hai.. unke liye regular RC hai. Jisko fast paced racing chahiye.. unke liye Bingo hai. Don't get the wires crossed.

Headstarts - Biggest chaos? Hmm.. maine kal bhi kaha.. aaj bhi kahungi.. Lizzie ke alawa kisi ki complain dikhi nahi mujhe. And agar thi to pehle hi karni chahiye thi. Rules clear the starting se... sudden boost to nahi diya gaya hai hume. Tab to kisi ne concern raise nahi kiya... ki 12 hr extra kyu. Because no one thought that it matter much - That's the simple truth. Sabko laga tha aaram se pura mahina chalega Bingo... 12 hr se kya ho jana hai. And then you were taken by shock ki itna sara ho gaya 12 hr mein.. oh no no.. this is wrong. We suggested a rematch immediately back then, to prove that the 12 hr wasn't the only factor. And that brings me to the third point

Teams won't change - We asked for a rematch. Rematches are done with the same teams. We understand having to accommodate for members who won't participate next month / new sign ups... lekin continuing members can still be in the same team. We want to prove for once and for all.. that headstart, daytime / nightime, fast members eating up slow members' tasks, all members being quick at communication, etc etc.. jo bhi 83651 bahane hai wo nai.. hamara planning, teamwork, enthusiasm.. and most importantly hard work kaam aaya tha. We are not asking to have same teams every month... that wouldn't even be fun.. the changes are good and let us interact with everyone. But for Bingo.. same team should remain for just one more time... taaki ye sare shak hamesha ki liye dur ho jaye. Hamare naam par itne kalank lage hai kal se.. baar baar new rules to try and create obstacles in our way.. aur hum fir bhi har nahi mane to ban for 12+ hours. And ye sab kam nahi to ab humse ye mauka bhi chhina ja raha hai.. to prove ourselves again. Why? Itna darte ho humse? Pura Bingo card nahi claim karlenge.. thoda rakhenge aap logo ke liye bhi

I didn't want to say it yesterday bcz I could see Lizzie was not in the right frame of mind... but that was no excuse for the sudden new rules that made some members of our team go into panic attacks for real. Subah se jaldi uthe the hum... raat ko 3-4 baje tak bethe rahe.. sabse jyada loss hamara ho raha hai with scrapping of this challenge.. fir bhi rematch ke liye we are ready. Despite all the atyachar that has already happened... jo ek simple request rakha humne utna accept nahi kar pa rahe aap log... and with no logical explanation other than yahi chalta aa raha hai sadiyon se aur yahi chalega... bas! Not even willing to consider the fact that these are not normal circumstances here.. and special circumstances mein jab kal itne naye special rules ban sakte the baaki teams ke liye.. to ab jab hamari bari aai tab kyu koi consideration nahi? Nahi karna to mat karo but give a better explanation for it and not just yahi hota aaya hai kinda lame / low effort ans to flick away a genuine request. Agar genuinely koi issue hai same teams se to batao...

Ik the post was addressed to Shreya, but wow. This really rubbed me off the wrong way.

@red: no one did that. Not just yours, none of the teams did that. We didn't go around compelling people to read faster or pick up additional tasks.

Kaun aapse dar raha hai ? Kisne aapko challenge kiya ? You tell me you didn't intend to take pot shots at other teams but statements like these make me think otherwise. I don't know if any other team member feels offended but this is you or your team ( if you are acting as the spokesperson for the whole team ) nullifying the efforts of other teams' members. Thank you but aapki charity nahi chahiye. Aap humpe ehsaan nahi kar rahe hain kuch rows/diagonals/colors chod ke. That was unnecessary and uncalled for.

If you have grievances, you should address them to the organisers, but without insulting the efforts or the other teams. You feel insulted because your efforts are not acknowledged? I feel insulted because in your bid to explain how changing the rules was unfair for your team, you are making us look like incompetent whiners, when we were anything but that.

Maybe, if you were in my shoes and someone from the other team made such statements, tab shayad aapko patha chalti. And yes, you should definitely read your posts twice before posting. Aapki intention kya hai mujhe nahi patha par khudko upar dikhane ke liye kisi aur ko neeche dikhane ki zaroorat bilkul bhi nahi hai.

Nuksaan sirf MM ka nahi ho raha. Do you know we were supposed to wait for the inactive members, then Lizzie made it we have to wait till October 5th, then she said no work with what you have got, then she increased the task count to 5 per member. Isme aapka kya nuksaan hua except for the taking back the advantage that was given to you ?

Mein batati hoon what happened with us. We had to restrategize all over again. By the times rules changed, everyone went to bed. Yeh sab hua hamare saath but we aren't blaming y'all for the change in rules. No one is blaming or begruding MM team's efforts. So if you want to justify aapke saath kya anyaay hua hai, please make it without making it look like other teams weren't motivated enough or we slacked through the whole thing.

To receive the Bingo Badge, the participant must complete at least two tasks and have a minimum of 400-page numbers overall (from the two tasks combined).

We were told that the minimum page count per book was 60 pages and minimum 2 tasks/books (120 pages) and now it’s 2 books that total upto 400 pages? That’s not fair Madhu.
