I had the same thought which is why I lowered my expectations for Gen 5. But part of me thinks that they have showed so much trash in this gen (like surrogacy which they were dying to show since gen 2) that they maybe just maybe could show something fresh rather than the usual template which we’re sick of seeing.Originally posted by: The_Best

It just seems like DKP is relaxed and doesn’t care to improve because they anyway get 1.9-2.0 trps consistently so why bother. Shahi’s main focus is always on anupama. He seems to personally like that show so more invested in it while this show is running only for stable profit it’s giving and because of his ego where he wants to be known for having the longest running show on itv
