Sign me up for my final month for 1 book 🤣…. Baby has decided she’s coming early and not in November like I hoped 😂

The book bingo - I will try my best for 2 tasks, don’t think I can do more than that. Apologies to the team and captain I’m placed with beforehand. Will I still be eligible for participation badge if I only do 2 tasks? And do we choose the task? Because I’d want to be picking something simple and easy for me to complete.

The tasks will all be pertaining to reading, so you will be able to read as well as contribute to the tasks for your team! Still, if you find you cannot, let your team captain know so they can assign your tasks to someone else

Oooh countdown begins for you then! I’m going to say 2 tasks will make you eligible for the badge meaning 2 books read which is the usual minimum for most extra challenges we’ve had. If your team needs to do more than 2 tasks per person (depending on how many sign up), talk to your captain and let them know your constraints so they can assign your (leftover) task to someone else.

I love the idea of book bingo... finally something that actually feels like a team activity smiley40

I've a question though. What is the minimum page requirement for books / fics to be considered in the bingo?

I’m going to say at least 2. Ideally I’d want the total number of tasks (25) to be divided equally among all members depending on how many there are in each team but if I have to fix a minimum number I will say 2. That’s seems fair even to slow readers who should be able to finish that many in a month and it’s keeping with the numbers we’ve had for all the extra challenges so far.

2 books right? But what's the page requirement? I might be reading online fics instead of proper books... depending on what the topic is... so I want to know what length of fics I should be targeting. Even if do end up reading books, a page count would be helpful to know what kind of books to pick.

P.S. Wouldn't it be better to have sign-ups for bingo separately... to help divide the teams accordingly? What if too many uninterested members end up in the same team? The rest of the team members will have to work harder to balance that out. It also helps those who don't want to participate... as they can just continue their own reading without having to force themselves to participate for the sake of the team... or feel guilty about not doing their part.
