Every row (5), diagonal (2) & colored group task (5) completed by a team carries an additional 50 points, but will be awarded only to the first team to complete them. For eg: If your team finishes all the Red colored tasks first, your team is awarded 50 points. Only those teams that tag me (I will be checking the time stamps) on completion will be considered for points.

@b : Lizzie, could you consider making it the team which finishes first ( time stamp ) and not the one which tags you first ? I'm sure you are aware of IF's lags for some people .. the same thing happened in fastest fingers competition we had some time before.

Sorry if I am making this difficult for you.

And now since you bring up the other point about Bingo, I might have to change the number of required tasks.

Those who have signed up: please indicate if you’d like to participate in Bingo or not. I’ll still have you in teams for the RC, but you won’t receive the BB badge - just the RC ones (if you log the minimum number of pages)

No bingo please smiley9

Yaar that’s too difficult for me. How will I go about checking which task was completed first? smiley44I was going to go with the team who tags me first - similar to actual Bingo where you have to call out that you’re done otherwise the host won’t know.

If tag doesn’t work, then PM but I will need to receive an alert from the team else I won’t be able to check.

For the Bingo tasks I’ll only be checking the individual task post. So let’s say you picked up the task ‘Read a book by Sidney Sheldon’ - so when you finish, post you’re done and which book it read and how it relates to the task (in this case it’s a no-brainer smiley36) and that’s enough since I will be checking the links to the task posts per your suggestion. Your actual log post (for the RC) can be updated later.

You can ask the team to mention the time stamp at which they finished right ? You can check if the timings are accurate, right ? ( You can also ask them to give the links to the posts so that you can check the time stamps yourself )

IF doesn't have 01:01:01 timings, just 01:01 timings toh if it's a matter of seconds, it's the whole team that's losing.

I guess PMs might work.

Thanks Stuti, I was about to address this.smiley36

Why not take bingo sign-ups individually, like you did for Book Buddies? If people aren't interested in team activities or do not contribute actively, the team will suffer, which isn't fair to the other members who have actively worked for the team's victory, right?

Forgot to tag smiley44

Adding onto what @missFiesty and @stutti said, maybe you could divide the teams where the people who are not signing up for book bingo can be put into one team and the rest can be divided into other teams so the that one team will go on reading their own reading lists without any interruptions. What say?

Still too much work for me. I will have to check every task post to verify which team completed first. Plus I won’t even know which row/ group your team is going for - that’s a strategy that team members will need to decide on.

I mean in the actual Bingo game also, people have to call out they’re done for the host to know.
