People saying “Hrithik is finished after War 2” are missing the bigger picture. It’s not Hrithik who’s at fault, it’s Bollywood’s obsession with rinse-and-repeat formulas. Just because War clicked six years ago doesn’t mean a sequel, with the same glossy packaging, will automatically do the same.
Let’s be honest — War 2 struggled because of its overlong runtime and Ayan Mukherjee’s muddled storytelling. Somewhere in the attempt to go bigger, the film lost its soul. That’s not on Hrithik.
Hrithik Roshan, on his own, is still one of the most supremely talented and magnetic actors we have. He’s the rare mix of grace, intensity, and star power that can still light up the screen in a heartbeat. What he needs is a director and script that see him, that bring out the extraordinary in him instead of burying it under spectacle.
Hrithik is not “finished.” If anything, he’s waiting for the right stage to remind everyone why we fell in love with him in the first place — and when that moment comes, it will be worth the wait. 💙
