I've actually read just one book of AC quite a long time ago, 'cause I found the book at home. It was "A Pocketful of Rye" from the Miss Marple series, and I really loved it!
If you read a Marple book and loved it, you’re more than primed to read AC

. Poirot is like kindergarten AC imo - not in terms of the writing but in terms of how easy it is to get into the books. Marple - you need to graduate into

. Also her other books like Tommy and Tuppence, Parker Pyne, Harley Quin etc.
My first AC was Body in the Library which was a Marple book back when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I don’t remember loving it. Then I went on to the Poirot stuff and then when I returned to Marple - I found I loved them much more than the Poirot books.
