I think chapter-wise discussion would be a bit too much. How about, you and I reserve two posts each, one for the hating game and one for the very secret society. We can put memorable moments and quotes there. The rest of the discussion, we can have it normally, but quoting and replying to each other's posts!

Yes I will be reading on my iPad don’t sure if it will be kindle or just some random pdf or epub but you can update the number of pages from kindle in the first post.

I am reserving next two posts for each book then.

THE HATING GAME

CHAPTER 1

• “Books were, and always would be, something a little magic and something to respect.”
  
  
  

CHAPTER 2

• The banter is bantering with these two. Don’t know about the hating game but these two definitely got the hots for each other. Most of their insults are giving chemistry . And the guy is giving so much hidden simp energy. Liking it so far.
  
  
  

CHAPTER 3,4&5

• In my opinion It was kind of dragging and childish behaviour for people who are in their late twenties. And the name of the book should be the seduction game because all they are doing is trying to get the other into a bed.
• The dialogues are funny though and so are references.
• Them always imagining and referencing each other in intimate situations with always trying to one up the other. It’s quite high school behaviour. But it’s rocking their boats
• The sexy dream and the dress got us the elevator kiss so yay

CHAPTER 6

“You’ve broken me down so completely, I can’t even handle it when a guy tells me I’m beautiful.”

Dismay spreads across his face.

“That’s why I’m crying. Because Danny told me I’m a beautiful girl, and I nearly fell off the barstool.

You’ve ruined me.”

“I . . .” he begins to say, but he’s got nothing. “Lucy, I—”

“There’s nothing left you can do to me. You win today.”

• such an impact full scene, josh is finally realising that all these games are not just games to Lucy, they are affecting her more than she is letting on and due to which he might actually lose what he is actually trying to win by playing all these game, LUCY!
  
• It is so clear that they both have feelings for each other, just not clear if they are only lusting after each other or there is more. Joshua’s “ I don’t wanna be your Friend” was so funny, heartbreaking for Lucy for sure, but joshy boy clearly is trying to avoid being friend zone here. He can accept being her enemy and hated by her but can’t be friend zone by her. The man has his priorities straight . He wants to be the first person in her list even if it is her block list or enemy list but will not be a random friend to her. The dude has serious issues being second to anyone else.

• The real story is finally starting finally!

CHAPTER 7

• The roses and the note were a good call on Joshua’s part too bad Lucy didn’t make the connection but full marks for effort here. The guy is realising the gravity of this situation.

THE HATING GAME

Chapter 1: Okay. The story is off to a decent start. I'm not a huge fan any book written in first-person. But the writing is decent enough. I'm stoked that the characters are working on in a publishing house (has always been a dream of mine!) Nothing much about the characters yet, except that they are polar opposites and hate each other!

Chapter 2: Okay, I'm kinda enjoying their back and forth, but I do think that they're definitely not behaving like full-grown adults with respectable jobs though. But, I do think that Joshua is definitely right about Lucy being a pushover. She really needs to stand up for herself.

Chapter 3: Okay, using her family to make fun of her was really mean. That is really crossing a line. And why am I actually rooting for Lucy to get the job though? I'm already biased!

Chapter 4: God, do they seriously have to even continue their so-called banter in front of the other colleagues as well? I totally understand why the HR is wary of them now. I would be too!

Chapter 5: Ahem... ahem... Lucy?? What was the dream about?? And is Joshua getting jealous of her "supposed" date? I can't wait for the team-building activity though.

Chapter 6: Okay... the kiss... WTF just happened? Also, Joshua the Jerk! He just completely messed her up because he couldn't control himself! If someone ever told me that "We could never be friends" in a tone like that, I wouldn't bother seeing their face again! This man has a lot of grovelling to do!

Chapter 7: Oh yes, Joshua is most definitely jealous. And I'm pissed off with Joshua turning down the offer for friendship again. What's his damn problem? Also, I'm not getting a good feeling about Julie asking for the favour...

Also is it only me who is finding this book kinda little boring 🤔 😅. Both Lucy and Joshua are completely cuckoo in my opinion this is like reading a high school comedy between the self proclaimed miss popular and the bully who doesn’t know he is a bully
