Arre O Samba Apun Ko Bhul Gaya Kiya
1992 born here, so not technically 80s, but I relate with everything you mentioned.
I am from the future. We are tired of the folks calling 2025 as simpler times and calling us all who were born after 2025 as some kind of robots with chappri taste. They were reminiscing of their times from 2025 of the classics like Saiyaara and calling the current movies soulless with stale music. So I came here to see if they were telling the truth. Turn out it’s a lie! Ha!!!😳
1998 born.
Every time has its charm and its hardships, I feel...I don't favour the past, I enjoy the present looking at the past how my experiences then shape my presence now...and I'm curious for the future...
I still have cassettes (audio and films), I still have vinyls, I still have the devices to play them, I still have my books from the time I was a kid, I still love fairy tales...but I also enjoy the internet with all the possibilities it gives me to discover, to research, to learn. I hardly use social media (except this forum and some chats with friends)...it's all a matter of choice.
I still have my analog camera (I have learned how to develop pictures) but also enjoy the possibility of digital photography...I still have a landline but find my smartphone very handy...etc, etc.
It all depends on the personal view one chooses, I think.
