Intriguing story...what made Kabir a villain? reminds me a bit John vs Pathaan but will there also be the underlying emotions for the other? the patriotic voice-over aside it seems to be a good action movie.

It ticks every box in the generic action-film checklist: slow-motion shots, gravity-defying stunts, brooding men in leather jackets, etc., just recycled swagger

Hard pass, even though Hrithik is gorgeous and I will probably watch it in the theatre despite all of the above

This will work. If nothing else for the fights between Jr. NTR and Hrithik it'll work. There isn't much in terms of story (either in the trailer or I'm guessing in the full movie), Kiara is eye-candy with a side of action, and there will be lots of slow walks, action, and body shots. So this will work.

War 2 first step is to cross BO Saiyaara lifetime collections. This weekend Saiyaara will possibly cross Brahmastra LT on a budget of 60crs. Perception wise it has a lot of heavy lifting to do.

Fans and twitter accounts will run with advance booking,screen counts etc. But today, audience cares only about the trend in the 2nd week and Lifetime collections. Fanclubs,especially in the South will use all their power to get the buzz going.It is expected with all supestar films. Ticket prices will be increased by minimum 10 %. On the national holiday,50 crore will be the target.

Friday is the National holiday,Saturday is Janmashatmi/Parsi new year holiday. It is a prefect release date.

true. you summed it up well. Kiara's role seems like Aishwarya's in Khaki.

Or any other actress in any dhishum dhishum movie. At least Aishwarya had some twist in her role & good songs. Kiara doesn't even have a novelty or wow factor.

Madhun Bhandarkar to aiwain hi badnam he. YRF movies are just as formulaic.
