Well, even Ishani's addiction came to the fore because of missing valuables and behavioural changes which is quite evident and long(er) term and she belongs to the Shah Phemily where privacy is a myth and her mother hovered over her feeding her to crooked plots. So, i guess...... not surprising there was none noticing any changes (by virtue of not knowing him enough or him not displaying any significant changes) and paisa not being a problem.
Besides, the one who knew of the addiction, Maahi, went scott-free. No questions, NOTHING. Talking about whom, her love for Aryan was generated faster than Maggie 2 minute noodles, isn't it? He supports her infront of Onupama in the Mandap and Baam, there she found turu lobe.
As for logic, it never existed on the show.
