It’s been a strange year for Bollywood — big stars flopping, random remakes, and a lot of noise. But amidst all that, these 3 movies genuinely stayed with me:
Superboys of Malegaon – What a gem! Quietly brilliant and full of heart. It's a love letter to filmmaking itself, seen through the eyes of small-town dreamers. No unnecessary gloss, no forced messaging — just sincerity and soul.
Sitaare Zameen Par – Call it what you will, but this one hit hard. Yes, it's emotional, yes, it tugs at your heartstrings, but that’s the point. It brought back that old-school Aamir Khan touch: sentimental but with purpose. And the child actors? Outstanding.
Metro In Dino – Honestly didn’t expect to love this one as much as I did. There’s something charming about slice-of-life films when done right, and this was that. Bittersweet stories, grounded characters, and a city that’s more than just a backdrop — it made me feel things.
