I have seen cutoffs. In many cases they reach zero even and in most ifs far lower than GC. I have seen where the highest reservation score was below the GC score. I have never seen majority being greater than cut off.

Technically reservation will be there because of the lower class which have little resources, cut offs were and are lower for them but issue is only a section of those keep exploiting it generation over generations. To uplift everyone a strict measure is needed.

See Tina Dabi

Both parents are IAS still she needed quota.

Hi,

Are you saying that the lower caste have gotten UR marks and got the Ur seat? Are you trying to tell this?

Yes, atleast what I experienced was that if reserved class got similar or more marks than unreserved, they would capture the UR seat first. This happened mostly with the obc guys who would capture ur seats, while their quota seats remained available for lesser scoring candidates from their caste.

Basically reserved seats to unki hain hi, par wo unreserved seats bhi le sakte hain if they get equal or more marks than ur candidates.

I know this happens. My father has many times be in admission duty in Engineering college here, I know it happens. I was just confirming her I think she was not able to make her point clear.

Basically if you get marks in UR cat then it's merit based. As you said, it's same.
