Im just getting started with these novels. Warna i would never waste my time on reading and watching the same thing. Just that I can't hold my excitement for some of themsmiley36

I was checking out different websites that have translations of Chinese novels and only MyDramaNovel looked good. The other sites have so many spelling mistakes and bad grammar.

Oh that sounds like a fantastic idea! I used to be part of a reading club with some work friends where we’d choose a book and read it over the month, it’s been a long while since everyone has gotten busy with busy schedules. Hopefully can find a book to read with others.

On my current to read list are the following that I want to get reading within this month and next:

The syndicate (final book of Dark Verse) - Runyx

Enigma - Runyx

Devilish Ink by Sienna Blake

The Devils Torment - Tracie Delaney

Still Beating - Jennifer Hartman

Lights out - Navessa Allen

Set on you - Amy Lea

Exes and O’s - Amy Lea

It’s also bank holiday weekend with an extra few days AL for me so hopefully can spare more time catching up on reading

We can read Lights Out after Enigma if you like?

On a serious note, if anyone has issues with the schedule, let me know. I know, I have started some of the schedules from today, but if more people wish to join, I can accommodate them and make little adjustments.

@Bold: Oh well. Another professor in my life! You see, I'm currently in college. Professors can be wonderful nightmares actually. Interestingly, I found this one in a forum. 😂🤷‍♀️

Also, the schedule seems fine to me, Shirsha. We can start with The Merchant of Venice. About Twelfth Night, I doubt whether I'll be able to read along since I am juggling with my assignments. But I'll certainly try :)

I also saw your list. I will be reading Before The Coffee Gets Cold after my current book for the reading challenge. But unfortunately, the copy I have is borrowed from one of my friends and I'll have to return it back soon. I have also sort of started it already. So I won't be able to buddy-read that.

However, I am bookmarking this list. These look like great recommendations! smiley27

That's completely fine. You can read Before the Coffee Gets Cold at your own pace. There's no need to buddy-read. I already listened to the first story of that book many days ago. But if I read Before the Coffee Gets Cold, I'll read it from the very beginning. Btw, the first story is beautiful.

Yes, I want to read Macbeth and Twelfth Night. Both of them will be re-reads for me. I read these two dramas when I studied English honours. But I won't be able to read all four dramas of Shakespeare (Macbeth, Twelfth Night, The Merchant of Venice, and Hamlet) this month. Let me know if you want to buddy-read any of the children's books from the list. All of the children's books were written by eminent authors. You said you would be interested in buddy-reading a children's book. That's why I tagged you. What didn't you dislike about The Stranger? Did you dislike the plot or the character development? Or did you dislike something as well?

The Wishing Chair seems interesting, I'd just have to find a way to read it!

As for The Stranger, I read it for school a very long time ago and didn't end up liking it, but a few years ago I tried to read it again now that it won't be for school, and I was just completely uninterested in the main character.

Bold@ Probably you didn't like the main character for some reasons. That's why you didn't care about the character.

Red@ Yes, The Wishing Chair series seemed interesting to me, that's why I selected these books. If you buy the books or download them and want to do buddy-read with me, let me know.

Oh I already got them, I just won't be getting to them rn... I think smiley39

Thing is, I have a long list of books that I'm gonna borrow and read, so I plan to prioritise them first so I can keep returning them. But these 4 I already own, that's why I'm not in a hurry to read them 😅

That's the plan. But since I'm a totally whimsical person when it comes to choosing my books, I also have no faith in sticking to my plans smiley37 I honestly never know which book is gonna be my next read. Just giving you a fair heads up smiley36
