I want to read the original, unabridged versions only. Okay, so I have paperback versions of A House for Mr. Biswas and No Longer at Ease because I read them for Masters in the past. The first one's publication is Picador and the second one's publication is Modern Classics. I also have the paperback version of Robinson Crusoe and it is Norton Critical Edition. But I want to read its e-book version. So, I downloaded Robinson Crusoe from Planet e-books (a legal website of classic literature). I checked the text and it's original only. The text of the Norton Critical Edition and the e-book are same totally. But the e-book is divided into chapters and as far as I know, originally Robinson Crusoe wasn't divided into chapters. So, I'm a little confused about what to do.
As far as speed is concerned, I'm a very slow reader. So, I won't be able to read all the three novels in May. A House for Mr. Biswas is a long novel (more than 600 pages). So, I'm willing buddy-read this one in June. I'm willing to read Robinson Crusoe and No Longer at Ease in May. I want to start with Robinson Crusoe.
