Rajeev Khandelwal says that he is going through a phase where he gets interested in every woman he meets but he does want a special partner. So where does that leave his 'good friend' Aamna Shariff? While Rajeev Khandelwal is awaiting the release of his debut film Aamir, Aamna is still working on Aloo Chat in which she is paired opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Ask Rajeev about Aamna and he laughs and says, "Believe it or not I'm seeing far less of her now than before. She is busy devouring Aloo Chat while I'm busy chasing Aamir." "Coincidentally, we both started our career in films together. But her film's genre is different from mine. Her film is more of a commercial potboiler while mine tells the story of a common man caught in a difficult situation, and I don't even have a heroine opposite me," he adds. Even though rumours are rife about the duo being serious about each other, and the Mumbai Mirror team had spotted them after a special screening of Aamir that Rajeev had especially held for Aamna at a suburban multiplex, Rajeev, as usual, was in denial mode. Rajeev insists that both of them are too busy with their respective film career. "She has bounced off the plot of her film to me. Since our priority right now is establishing our respective film careers, we both have been too busy to take interest in each other's activities. Right now I'm going through a phase where I get interested in every woman I meet. But I do want a special partner," he insists. Rajeev is known for his stubborn streak. Earlier, he left his claim-to-fame show Kahiin To Hoga, where he garnered immense popularity as Sujal. However, he left the show at the peak of his popularity and never returned back to the show. Rajeev has vowed to never get back to television. "Unless television evolves, there's no possibility of me returning to television," he says. Right now he's busy with the release of his debut film, Aamir. Ask him if he is praying hard for the success of his film and he says, "I don't believe in God. I believe in karma."
