Do you want me to remove them?

If illustrations are in every page and take up more than 50% of the page, reducing the written material to only about half a page then probably yeah. Idk what type of books these are but I know the ones for young readers have larger typesets and bigger illustrations but then there are those like Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton too that count as chapter books. You’d be the best judge of where these books fit.

I'll probably remove them because there are illustrations every few pages, but they do take up quite a bit of space, so it's probably like less than 5,000 words per book.

I started reading yesterday.... I read few in the past.... Got hold of this in my brother's bookshelf so thought of reading.... Oh... TV series? I didn't know.... Where to find them ?

Also Malory towers was so refreshing.... I lived the hostel Life with Darell Sally Alicia Gwen Betty and others ..... It was so good .... Will take a break and may be get the second book collection of Malory towers.....

1984 is a bit complicated... But for my assignment I wouldn't have opted to read.... So am reading few pages multiple times to really understand what the author is exactly saying.... So I am reading only 25 pages per day ....

Next book am planning is of Agatha Christie.... Lets see I shall plan and update .....

Yeah 1984 is broody and bleak and not an easy read. Still, it is an important one I think.

Jeeves and Wooster series - honestly idk where you can find it. I have the DVD collection and it’s my go-to for whenever I’m feeling low. So well made and there cannot be a better Bertie and Jeeves than Laurie and Fry!

Blandings Castle is awesome too, but I don’t think the TV adaptation worked out very well ( they only tried with a few books I believe)

Agatha Christie is another author you can’t go wrong with! Good luck with your reading! Hope you enjoy the PGW book!

And yes Malory Towers is quite fun!

Hey Lizzie, I am continuing a book which I was reading in March (Ruthless Arrangement by Jordan Marie). But on Amazon the kindle word count is 240 and on goodreads the Kindle word count is 235. How strange!smiley24 I will stick to the Amazon one.

Just finished, The Bridge Kingdom - Danielle L Jensen

Rating on 5 : ⭐⭐

Should have DNF'ed it when I had the chance.. This book not only made me go into a reading slump, but was also such un- satisfactory read.

It's supposed to be enemies to lovers.. Its supposed to be romantasy.. it's supposed to be a fan favorite but nope.. it didn't personally fulfill either of these criteria.

No character development, no chemistry between leads.. The only reason to give it 2, was that it wasn't as bad or cringey as I expected.. Some of the war sequences were interesting to read..

Yeah GR generally has a few pages off from what Amazon gives. Therefore, stick to Amazon. If you're continuing from March, just put down the pages you read in April.

I'm trying to average a book a day. Normally I don't read so much, but this challenge is giving me impetus to! smiley36

And I'm DNFing books that don't interest me in the first few chapters & those that aren't quick and easy reads, so that i don't linger on one book for too long. Again, if it wasn't for this challenge I would probably stick around and finish books that I'm currently DNFing and take days to do so! smiley36 And probably put myself in a reading slump - this challenge is getting me to avoid such duds!
