I'm excited (again lol)! We are finally getting back to the OG storyline that we were promised—about Sailee's business ambitions and ventures.
Even though this track will focus on a setback in Sailee's business, the UKA team excels when it's about progressive, career-driven tracks. They've done a brilliant and realistic job showing the FL's journey so far—chasing her ambitions, experiencing highs and lows, dealing with demotivation, picking herself up, struggling, innovating, facing conflicts, and pushing through.
Through her first failure, the show explored the importance of balancing personal life and career. Sailee lost her interior designing business because she failed to keep a balance. But this time it seems like they will explore how important confidence in yourself is when you face a setback. Right now, after losing her store, Sailee is super demotivated and basically feels like she's back to square one. She's ignoring that it was her own hard work and determination that made her capable in the first place—enough to buy her husband a car all through her own money. She didn't take an ounce of help from anyone else. She took a loan, mixed it with the lakhs that she earned, and gifted it to him haq se. It speaks volumes of how capable she is and that she is much bigger than just a store.
And this brings in another major highlight of the show—Sachin. A husband with no superiority complex, no ego, when it comes to his wife's success. Her dreams are his dreams. Her success is his success. Her failures are his failures. Instead of discouraging her or telling her to move on, instead of being against her like most husbands in ITV, he is standing with her. He understands that right now, she's feeling lost and defeated, saying things out of hurt and confusion. And instead of letting her spiral, he's being her anchor, reminding her that her store isn't what defines her. It's her hard work that makes her who she is. She lost her store, not her udne ki aasha. Sailee has always been Sachin's pillar, making his world better in every way she can. She helped him regain his jaan se bhi pyaari gaadi and when he has to sell it again she gifts him a brand new jaaneman so he can continue to do what he loves. And now, he is standing with her the same way. Their conversation in episode 362 was really wholesome—Sachin just sat with her, fed her, let her cry, and reassured her that nothing was over, no matter how hopeless she felt.
What I really want from this track is for Sailee to realize that her store isn't the only way and that she is much more than that. Renu and Roshni's smug faces need to be slapped away with her success. After the last 2 mediocre tracks that were painfully boring and skippable, this is exactly what UKA needs to bring back its original essence. I know it's too recent to pass a judgement, but I think they will really rock this track.
In short, good going, UKA. Really looking forward to this track. SaChi share one of the most captivating chemistries I've seen. The emotional connection, loyalty, unsaid love, and support they have for each other really makes them the best. The sheer positivity within their relationship is what makes them so special and close to my heart. I hope this track brings back what we felt we were losing—the unconditional support and love between Sailee and Sachin.
p.s. Neha absolutely rocked her performance. She expressed Sailee's vulnerability, pain, and breakdown flawlessly. Nothing was over the top. I have sympathized with Sailee in the past, but this time she really brought me close to tears. Neha Harsora as Sailee Deshmukh is absolute perfection.
