OMG. The Saturday TRP are a shocker. Was there a match on Sat? Who between? I know Pakistan one wasn't until Sun.

MMM's TRP is shocking to say the least. Do we have anyone reporting Fri TRP so wr can tell if this was an anomalous blip or not? If not the Geo's goose is cooked, and I am worried about Dayan. In Ramzan, once ARY 8 pm slate moves to 10 pm, these Geo shows might pick up in TRPs. What do you think?

I was hoping QeJ would give Dastak a closer competition. Being in a competitive timeslot on Sat with ARY in play definitely impacted QeJ's TRP. Maybe people were not aware of the time change which could be a factor too. However, once Ramzan starts and the ARY slate shifts to 10 pm, and if MMM doesn't pick up significantly by then, then I see QeJ being timeslot leader on both Sat and Sun. MMM can take the slot on Friday in Ramzan though when it's just Hijr.

Haan match ka kuch impact hoga. Actual TRP of Dastak without match would be 10-11.5 & QeJ would be 6-7 I think. One advantage for QeJ on Saturday is that a lot of people were watching it on Sunday slot.

Also is "Sona kaha hai" that important for ARY? Why they give free run to Geo & Hum during Ramadan?

Also Sahar Hashmi doesn't deserve lead roles in 8pm dramas. Bina industry me koi struggle kiye kese ise Faysal Qureshi aur DT jese A-listers ke opposite lead role mil raha?

ARY is in its best phase currently. Every show is working well for them.

Many families have chosen ARY as their default channel. What happens in lot of households that you put a channel on and it runs from 7-10 pm. Its a habit. The strong lead in at 7 pm plays a role. You watch 7 pm drama you like and chances r u will just not change channels when 8 pm slot starts. I know many fams that switched over to ARY as their default last year, including my own fam. Shaam ko jab ARY lagta hai toh raat tak wahi laga rehta hai.

But ARY is also giving programming that ppl don't hate. My mom watches Aye Dil. Is she an Azaan fan. NO. Does she think its the best drama. NO. But it's good enough that she doesn't feel like turning off the TV or switching the channel. Even if ARY programme's are not the most interesting, they are good enough at engaging viewers.

Oh wow, I thought Imran Abbas and Neelum had no audience pull but MMM is also getting the same TRPs. Absolutely shocking, Geo is truly in their flop era.
