Most popular BW villains of all time?

We have talked about heroism enough. It’s time to talk about villains now who actually make the movie interesting

The first one that comes in my mind is SRK from Daar and Amrish Puri as Mogambo.

SRK in Darr is a glorified villain or what they call anti-hero, totally different from the iconic villain roles played by Amrishpuri.

His Ashraf Ali in Gadar is one of the fan favorites where he played a role of a father conflicted between his love for his daughter and his country/ideology.

I always liked Ek Villain. Not Ek villain 2 but the first one

Amrish Puri esp in Naagin

I agree, Amrish puri as Sakina’s father in Gadar will remain iconic. That movie was elevated by his character.

I think even Akshay as Vicky in Aajnabee was a great villain.

And let’s not forget both Kabir and Aryan from Dhoom is iconic.

Amongst female characters, kajol in gupt, Priyanka in Aitraaz

Gabbar and Mogambo. No other BW villains are as popular as them.

Sadashiv Amravpurkar's Maharani gave me anxiety.

Ashutosh Rana's Lajjashankar Pandey was scary too.
