Thanks so much SpideyI was a huge huge Lataji Fan during College days and never would attempt Ashaji songs...as her songs were quite versatile and i never felt comfy those years...preferred straight, subtle songs.

Since my SM journey our friends NP and Charu were the first to highlight this abt my voice resemblance to Ashaji And then I got experimental with her songs...Huge thanks to them...now I follow Ashaji ...& its been crazy to attempt her songs.

But Pani pani re is a Lataji song

Wooow ya NP...Ekdum mast Collab...Song sounds amazing with 2 voices and a makeover ho gaya

And Saurabda ko kitne din baad suni...Mast gaaye NP...beautiful singing and loved it totally

I can understand...Venturing into a different zone calls for audacity!

But u did a fab job...

Even though paani paani is lata song, ur voice still reminded of asha only and in fact when i was listening i was thinking this must be asha song only But now only when u told i got to know..

Do you try emulation other singers too? If u dont try it once...its absolutely fun to sing in others voices... Although i have been criticised by sum.ppl for not singing in own voice but this tendency to mimick others increased my scope a lot and helped to do justice to various type of songs.. But last few years i stopped this though except if the video i wanna make is tribute based 😊

Saurabh ji kitne humble hain na? Itni sweet voice aur expressive singing hai unki... plus male - male collabs ke kafi chances mil jaate hai unke saath. I get to learn a lot from him.

Initially when I got these compliments of voice resemblance to Ashaji..I was zapped thinking..was I trying hard to imitate her just cos I was complimented .later i was told the same even when I used to sing the Male Solos...then it became clear that my natural voice does remind people of Ashaji. I never ever knew that during College days.

Now in my second innings exploring her songs is making it a huge challenge for me.

Coming to your skills...its absolutely wonderful if u can mimic ...Sudesh Bhosle was sooo good at it. It's not easy at all. Huge talent. Ofcourse u should do justice to your natural voice in certain songs and rejoice that too.
