People should really stop judging others......Just because he is a celebrity.....just because he is walking and clean shaven....doesn't mean he was not injured....Everyone has their own experience.......for God's sake atleast don't mock someone who was injured.....It could have been a lot more serious......glad to see him back...

Same here. And my C-section was big !! Still they made me walk, and I also volunteered to show up myself for my kid’s birth registration on a different floor altogether without any help. smiley1 People are so quick and dismissive of others’ pain, is really the primary problem of current world. Hope we learn back more on empathy. smiley6

Great to see Saif being discharged. He’s my Sharmila Tagore’s son. He has to get better soon. smiley19

Thanks for everyone for sharing your surgical experiences. Btw, if this was a publicity stunt; I would think Saif would have acted a bit more hurt. Because if we’re going to say this PR stunt was so extreme that he bought the Mumbai police department and one of the top hospitals in India to play along, wouldn’t it have made sense to act a bit more hurt and come home in a wheelchair? You know, theatrics? 😂

I had the open cholecystectomy surgery to have gall bladder removed. Not the minor one where they do small incisions but a large incision of 15 centimeters below your ribs where muscles and tissues are pulled to remove the gallbladder. I was told to start walking 8 hours after surgery, and it hurt like he'll. 12 hours after surgery, I was discharged and had to walk myself to the parking area and wasn't allowed a wheelchair.

Saif was atleast recuperating for 5 days at the hospital. People making remarks about how it is not possible to walk around like have not had to go through such procedures or have not seen their relatives go through procedures.

Physically he may have recovered, but mental healing will take time, not just for him but his 2 young sons.

And why are people saying it's a publicity stunt. I think before issued a statement to not make speculations and just give them space, hamari hi imagination overdrive pe thi.

@ Bold: This. This is everything. People are quick to judge because they haven't seen the procedures themselves. Or maybe the media made it sound worse than it is. But just this.

@ Red: Again this. I mean yes he's smiling and waving for the cameras and thanking everyone for their concern, but that entire family is shook up. Kareena making a post and then deleting it is evidence of that. The fact that they've called in Ronit Roy and his security company is evidence of that. And also how quickly they've pulled back from being seen on camera as much is also evidence of that. The physical wounds will heal quickly and with some good plastic surgery the scars will never be visible, but the emotional damage and that healing will take a long time.

@ Green: The issue is that we have come to expect the worst kinds of publicity stunts from celebs for their movies or charity work or what not. Abhi recent example hi le lo of Vikrant Massey saying he's taking a break and "retiring" from films. Or how about when Neha Kakkar appeared pregnant just to promote her song. Or everyone's favourite Kangu just before any film of hers is to release. I mean, we've come to expect that celebs will go to any extent to promote their films and work and so this kind of pessimism is expected. But people also need to understand that there's a limit to PR stunts. Pulling in media, doctors, the police, and their own young kids is going a bit too far even for the most attention hungry celebs (and no I don't mean that as a dig at anyone but just in general).

Heck I would expect waterworks and theatrics from the full family. Maybe some crying and rona dhona from Kareena, some perfect make-up but crying shots from Sara, a mostly clean-shaven and at least with a better hairdo Ibrahim, etc., etc. For a PR stunt, this was very thanda. smiley37

Exactly this.....no celebrity will put their kids at risk of being injured for a movie promotion......more than the physical harm I am worried about the mental harm......it would have done to the kids.......I hope the kids were still sleeping and did not see their Dad get attacked by a stranger with a knife.....that is something no child should ever see......Some years back....my husband was out of town for a few days.......even a little sound at night would make me jump out of the bed and run to my kids room to see if they were all right.

The whole incident was so scary....I am glad they are getting a new security agency....I feel for the whole family.....celebrity or not....the world we live in.....such incident can happen to anyone......so instead of mocking Said.....people should atleast think....what the whole family must have gone through........It makes me shudder to think ...what if hurt one of the kids.....anything could have happened....

All warriors who walked after your c section did you have surgery in your spine ?

C-section is on different part of body .

Seriously my doubt was on doctors who exaggerated the situation not on the actor or his family .

The doctors definitely exaggerated the situation. The exaggerated statements, the leaked photo of the knife, the repeated press conferences - if anyone was using this as a publicity stunt, it was the doctors and the hospital.
