Saif Ali Khan receives a special surprise from Kareena Kapoor and family as he returns back home from hospital

Saif Ali Khan recently faced a shocking knife attack that left him seriously injured. The incident took place in a public area, raising alarm among those present. He was quickly rushed to the hospital, where he received urgent medical attention for his injuries. In the days that followed, the authorities apprehended the attacker. After receiving treatment at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, Saif returned home on January 21, 2025. To celebrate his homecoming and uplift his spirits, Kareena Kapoor Khan and their family members decorated their home beautifully, reminiscent of a Diwali celebration.

On January 16, 2025, at approximately 2:00 AM, Saif Ali Khan was taken to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital following an attack by an intruder. Since that incident, he has undergone several surgeries and has been closely monitored. Although the actor is still in the recovery process, he is currently doing well. As a result, the doctors discharged him on January 21, 2025.

In a heartfelt gesture to welcome Saif back home, his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and other family members went above and beyond. They adorned their residence with bright lights, transforming it into a festive space that felt like the joyous occasion of Diwali.

The actor was attacked by an intruder in his Bandra flat on the 11th floor around 2:30 AM on Thursday. The incident unfolded when the intruder confronted the actor's maid at his home. As Saif tried to intervene and diffuse the situation, it escalated into a violent struggle, resulting in the actor sustaining multiple stab wounds.

Dr. Nitin Dange, the Chief Neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, had previously warned that Saif was at a significant risk of paralysis due to the attack. He noted that the knife had come perilously close to Khan's spinal cord, and if it had penetrated just 2mm deeper, it could have led to paralysis.
