Episode begins with Prem explaining to Mahi his view and boosting her morale . Prem feels emotionally blackmailed by Rahi . Prem tells Mahi he is ready to give them both a chance , Mahi smiles at his suggestion.he does not promise to love her but he assures he will try . He asks her if she is ready to wait for him all her life l Mahi says she loves him n is ready to wait for him all her life . Prem thinks in his mind that he will never be able to love her but he was saying this just for Rahi n Anudi . Pakhi, Kinjal and Toshu instigate Baa against Prem and ask her to use this chance to throw Prem out . He was unfit to be a servant of this house , what if he traps Ishaani or Pari next ?
Baa scolds Anupama for sending Prem to Mahi’s room , she has become too modern , such things are not allowed in this family . Anupama states that it was very 8mportant for Prem Mahi to talk . Right then Prem and Mahi arrive and Mahi tells Anupama that Prem will always be by her side . Anupama wants to know Prem’s views . Prem states he wil always take care if Mahi . Rahi looks at his sad face n understands Prem’s mind . Baa accuses Prem of talking nonsense , how will he take care of Mahi ? He has no secure job, no place to stay , where will he keep Mahi ? Prem states he has to think of the future . Everything has happened so fast that he needs time to think . baa and Toshu confront him for his unsure future . They force him to decide whether he will marry her or not . What if he takes all life to decide ? What if he falls in love with some other girl in the mean time ? They can’t trust him. Prem again reiterates he needs time to think of the future .
Anupama supports Prem and goes against everyone . Baa warns this marriage is very shaky . All love marriages in this family were failures … Kavya Vanraj, Anu Anuj , Toshu Kinjal , Pakhi And her husband , all were failed marriages . Even Mahi Prem marriage will be failure . Anupama asks everyone to be calm .
Prem gives meaningful looks to Rahi . She understands his mind .
Later Anupama asks Prem about his view regarding marriage , she thanks him for being nice to Mahi . She feels he is part of the family . He assures he did not love !ahi but he will try his best to give their relationship a chance . Anupama lovingly caresses Prem . She then asks him about his relationship with Prarthna. Prem denies any connection. In his mind he apologises for being unable to reveal the truth regarding Prarthna.
In the kitchen Prem arrives and watches Rahi readying the order . He helps her . They have accidental close moments together , they feel their chemistry stirring. They feel yearning for eachother , they both feel heart ache . Sad BG song plays … “sau dard hain …. “yhey have mind talk .. Prem states he sacrificed his love for Rahi’s happiness , Rahi sacrificed her love for sake of Mahi and Anudi . Both are now hurting .
Pakhi is seen instigating Mahi to rush into engagement before Rahi snatches Prem from her . Mahi shyly agrees .
Prem is hurting so much , Rahi notices this n stops him, they both are heartbroken and hurting , they have accidental close moments , they yearn for eachother . They are angry yet can’t hate one another . Prem warns this life he listened to Rahi, but next life he will wait for Rahi , he will wait for her . Prem and Rahi move away hurting badly n yearning for one another .

Anupama is shocked to see Baa and the entire Shah family n Prem sitting with Pandit ji . She asks Baa what’s happening here . Baa informs that she had summoned pandot ji to find good date for Prem Mah8 engagement and also to match Mahi n Prem’s hands .
Pandit ji declares Prem’s hand shows “Raj yog “ Prem and Mahi’s hands do not match , they should remain separate from one another . Their union is not possible . Ahi gets enraged n declares that pandot ji did not know how to match hands .
Pnadit ji I forms Anupamaa that Prem and Rahi’s hand matched perfectly like Ram Sita and they ought to be united . Anupama is shocked .
