If there is one thing Blake Lively is not, it is ‘just’ one half of one of the most endearing celebrity couples. The talented American actress is known for her versatility both in film and television and is a powerhouse performer. While she debuted in her father, Ernie Lively’s project, Sandman in 1998, Lively became famous by playing the role of Serena van der Woodsen in the teen drama television series Gossip Girl between 2007 and 2012. Since then, she has appeared in several notable films, including The Age of Adaline, The Shallows and A Simple Favor. Beyond acting, Lively has directed music videos, most recently for Taylor Swift’s I Bet You Think About Me.
Her recent film It Ends with Us, adapted from a novel by Colleen Hoover was a triumphant success for Lively and highlighted her capability to take up complex and emotionally charged characters. The movie is the story of Lily Bloom and how she finds love and overcomes traumatic experiences. It has been incredibly well received in terms of its authenticity and Lively’s performance has been consistently appreciated.
Blake Lively has recently filed an official complaint against her It Ends with Us co-star and director Justin Baldoni. Lively also accused Baldoni of professional sabotage and other inappropriate behaviour on set while claiming that this has damaged her career and Baldoni created a hostile work environment. The accusations include remarks being made about her weight, conversations Baldoni had with people about his sex life and a attempt to make her divulge her religious beliefs

Kangana Ranaut is no stranger to scandals herself and is one of the Indian actors and public figures who has been consistently been speaking her mind, even if it meant saying inflammatory and at times, inappropriate things. She recently came out in support of Blake Lively as she expressed her solidarity with an Instagram story.
“Even in Hollywood, women who refuse to compromise, they are maligned and their careers are destroyed. Its not just Bollywood. Hema Committee report had come out about Malayalam film industry; it is worrying and shameful,” said Kangana. Well, it is hard to disagree with her on this occasion, don’t you think?
