Rajveer needs a new FL!!!! Come On!!!!

I'll be honest, this show needs a major revamp.

Firstly, Paras Kalnawat is the sole redeeming factor after Shraddha and Dheeraj.

While I appreciate Shaurya's character, the actor Baseer is relatively new and lacks the experience to portray the main lead effectively

In future he might get ML on some other show but atleast on here he has to be content being the second lead.

Secondly, here's my perspective on potential changes that could regain viewer interest:

That is Palki and Shaurya end up getting married for some stupid harkat by Shaurya. And this begins their love story or whatever.

And Rajveer finally getting a new FL for god sake.

Palki is getting way too much attention and she is not delivering half of its worth. While I'm not criticizing her, I feel the character lacks depth, which initially Sana Sayyad portrayed effectively. Adrija, however, has managed to replace the original Palki adequately to her credit.

It's imperative that Rajveer gets a new female lead. Someone who genuinely shares chemistry with him.

The story needs to shift focus on Rajveer and the new FL. While simultaneously focusing on Shaurya and Palki post marriage scenario especially with Rajveer's heartbreak obviously.

Maybe they should get Urfi Javed opposite Paras.

While they have a history, who cares? Paras didn't want her in his previous show. However, they do share chemistry, and if it works for the characters and TRPs, that's what should matter, isn't it?

That said, I doubt Urfi will opt for TV, but if she does and is approached, she should definitely consider it. She has potential to be a good female lead instead of just a reality TV star. Plus, she and Paras genuinely have chemistry, and they're also close friends.

It could work wonders for the show.

Regarding the new female lead opposite Paras, whoever it is needs to be a well-written character.

Rajveer's character has a lot of baggage.

He has to call his own mum maasi, poor guy. Pata nahi preeta ki yaaddasht thik kab thik hogi and kab rajveer finally apni maa ko maa bolega and he will be able to mean it without feeling the guilt or worry of putting her through some sort of trauma.

Rajveer ki aankhon mein dikhta hai pata hai ki woh preeta se kitna pyaar karta hai aur kitna tarasta hai usko maa pukar ne ke liye.

Yeah, I'm a softie for this mother son duo.

But Rajveer seriously needs a new heroine.

Love triangles are boring and yeh wala toh itna boring hai I can't exaggerate.

Shanaya hai ya nahi same thing.

So her character is pretty much useless. The only interesting thing is when she finds out that Rajveer is the richer one of the Luthra brothers.

I want the new FL opposite Paras to be better written than Palki and Shanaya atleast.

Both girls are so badly written, no substance.

Don't writers ever put effort into writing female characters? Preeta and Shristi in the initial writing were gold compared to these girls.

I mean karti kya hai dono, na koi career na koi careful thought, one is busy trying to appease her mom's gold digging mentality and the other one is busy wanting to be FL.

Bhai FL insaan ban jata hai apne aap. They made her so much like preeta but palki still couldn't touch even 5℅ of Preeta, be it character wise or popularity wise.

That being said, no hate towrads Adrija at all. She was great in Imlie. But here she just doesn't work, atleast not opposite Rajveer, maybe she could work opposite Shaurya. Maybe.

That is why I want a new FL for Rajveer, so we can finally focus on Rajveer's lovestory.

I know a lot of Shalki fans will get triggered by this, but idc, the moment Rajveer gets a new FL, do second mein Shaurya aur Palki side characters ban jayenge. Dekh lena.

It will be all about Rajveer then. And all these people unnecessarily creating fanwars will realize what actually works for a show and what doesn't.

Exactly. Rajveer is a walking talking ode to perfection. A literal Marty Stu who's favored by the writers, the family,the fans.There is literally no option for growth into anything more interesting. The best thing to say about the dude is that he's living the life of his dreams and has no interest in delivering sermons to anyone - unlike Palki. She's turning into an unbearable mini-Preetha sermonising factory these days.

Say what you will of Shaurya. Dude is a live wire and keeps it interesting. The way he kept sending flying kisses to the Ravana effigy. I mean who does that

He has a long way to go for redemption. But he's a Diva and wants to be the centre of attention. He craves love but pushes back any attempts from anyone loving. Karan doesn't like him and he's aware of it. Playing obvious favorites with your children is a surefire way to alienate them. Luthra family excepting Rishabh pretends to love. But it's not unconditional. The moment he does anything wrong that love is withdrawn. And Rajveer is put on a pedestal while Shaurya being human is understandably jealous. He's judged for not liking the stranger he can't stand who barges into his perfect life.While Rajveer's dislike of Shaurya is not judged at all. Except by Karina bua who scolds him for laughing at Shaurya.

Each to their own the only good thing about Shaurya was he had chemistry with Palki his other scenes needed more depth and work on only OG preeran had it in them both actors nailed all their scenes Baseer has improved though acting wise in comparison to the beginning. I’ve watched since the start of preeran and I must say second gen destroyed the show. First gen was so good the family dynamics sister relationship brothers bond. Gen 2 didn’t have any good bonds Apart from kavya Rajveer They were going to ruin Palki Shanaya sister bond Shaurya Rajveer bond had no progress Shaurya still plotting to kill him every other track with Nidhi. If the show wasn’t offair then him and Nidhi would still be plotting against Rajveer and Preeta. It’s good it ended But as a Gen 1 I’m disappointed there was no proper closure
