Oh 100%. The Bachchans helped the rumours along by appearing separately, showcasing their family drama in public, and not even attempting to clear the air.

Heck for a few seconds I had this fleeting thought that this is a PR move meant to squash the rumours. But if it was, they'd have probably posed for the cameras more and maybe wouldn't have been holding hands and stuff like that.

If it was a PR move, they probably would’ve been seen together more often, trying to show everything’s fine.

But the way it’s playing out, with them appearing separately and not really addressing the rumors, it just makes it all more uncertain.

If they were trying to shut things down, you'd expect a more united front, right? Instead, it feels like they're leaving people to speculate.

But then, at last, BW people are unbelievable and unpredictable you never know what things they plan for more publicity.

Its not fans who did this. There is no way rumors came reddit and last this long. Bachchans knew what they were doing, they were waiting for abhisek last movie which came out, probably thought this will help with box office, as if thats possible.

Let's suppose they are really separated. Would they really want to still see each other's face all the time if they aren't heading for divorce? Probably not. Additionally in a way this is helping their pr as well because then these one off appearances together doesn't appear pr driven. It appears legitimate.

As I watched the whole yesterday Annuary Day event, I found it strange that every time either Amitji-Abhishek-Aish or Gauri-SRK-Suhana-Shehnaz (Gauri and Aish sitting on neighbouring seats) were shown by the camera, I didn't notice a direct communication between Abhishek and Aish or Aish and Gauri...(which doesn't mean that there hadn't been any as the event was more than 4 hours with a 15 min interval)
