But frankly I liked Gen1, still do watch old episodes. Gen 2 tho shaadi, divorce, shaadi khel khel mei gayi, Didn't watch after Naira is dead... Gen3 utna interest nhi aaya so skipped most of it, Gen 4 Abhimaan ka bonding acha laga .. Ab writers ko yaha bhi shaadi divorce game kelna hi..

The only season in which the writers diligently justified the show's title was with the S1 leads, Naitik and Akshara, and how they navigated marriage, parenthood, and relationships, which were the show's core. Only death separated them. Despite everything else, Naitik's temper and ego, and khatpat with Akshara, they stood by each other.

Season 2 gained so much popularity with Kartik and Naira that they could have written it properly. Still, they were so immature and childish as characters that they made a joke about their marriage that no one could take them seriously. And I won't go into 2nd spouses here.

In season 3, and this is my opinion, Abhimanyu and Akshara were completely mismatched. I did not find any chemistry between them, and the chaos and turbulence the characters around them created was enough to end their marriage. Abhinav was also completely mismatched because there was no chemistry here as well.

I don't find any chemistry between Armaan and Abhira in the current season. Armaan comes across as an extremely weak character whose foundation is so unstable that he cannot create stable relationships. Abhira is a fiery character who needs a better worldview, which she cannot get by living with Shraapit Goenkas and Tantrik Poddars. Abhira looks like a complete misfit in both families. Abhir and Rooh-i ne trauma and filth ka lesson padosa hai Abhira ke saamne, aur jo karm kaand kiye hai inke gharwalon ne uske baad to she should do what her mom and grandmom did best—run away!

Yeah Gen1 is the best!! but I like Gen4 only Abhimaan chemistry ( which writers are ruining now) Gen2 and Gen3 tho yes they could've executed better...

The best thing about this scene that I loved was his dialogue to God

Despite his world being torn apart with BSP Daksh and Abhira leaving him he looks up and ask God why is he lalchi , he said “Maine aap Se Kaha tha usko humesha khush rakhna..woh ro rahi hai”

That brought tears to my eyes and Sam OMG no words with her portrayal of the pain of not being able to see BSP hold BSP and say final good bye - and suffering loss if two children ! The devastation was so stupendous portrayed by both Sam and RoPu! 💔😩😢

When Gen3 started, I thought Abhimanyu was what Akshu needed, someone strong to protect that fragile and sensitive person. But I never imagined he would be the same person who would break her to the ground. Maybe Abhimanyu could have been happy with someone else just like Akshu was.. I think they brought out the worst of each other. No matter how good as an individual you are, sometimes people can be extremely incompatible together.

The thing is Neil had a different dynamic with Birla family and Abhimanyu too.. Armaan's story is entirely different. Abhimanyu was THE GOLDEN BOY of BIRLA family, but Armaan is not. If you look at the first episode of Gen4 and now, you can see that he has come a long way. He is now stronger and closer to the person he is meant to be. Abhira and Armaan bring out the best of each other and for Armaan, Abhira is his entire world. Yes, they have flaws but they work on those flaws and rectify them.

About appropriate decision making capabilities.. the less said the better..
