Chum-Shilpa both want KV to fight for them but they hardly help him in nominations or in his fights. Both are like “mujhe problem nahin hai kisi se” everyone in house thinks that KV is negatively influencing them and they are innocent, especially Chum.

That's called Vote Wasting. It was very clear. Ye bhi ek point hota hai. He didn't want to vote chum or kashish. So he voted a name that was confirmed will not get out.
