Every time Ghum3 is down, all I remember is RS ganja saying show will for 4 years with the leap story
Also, RS ganja saying story ends when leads fall in love š¤”
Ekta must be laughing hard if she ever hears that considering some of her most iconic and popular couples like Anurag-Prena and Sujal-Kashish and others fell in love within the first one/two month of the show itself. Still those shows ran for years successfully.
Itās not about getting second chances in love .. the story of YHM would have been good if they had incorporated the characteristics of season 1 and season 2 ..
They could have shown Savi as an IAS officer living with isha and shantanu .. with the backdrop of her getting a wound in her uterus rending her infertile
They could have brought characters like Mrunmayee daughter of Mohit n karishma or they could have shown anvi ( daughter of Nishi canāt ) living with them
Savi being posted as an IAS or revenue officer in Rajatās building is highly possible ..
Savi has started dressing demurely .. full sleeve blouses ⦠rather than making Rajat look like a peacock š¦..
Plus they need to change the director ā¦he does not know to take shots plus they donāt need so many body doubles .. why are they saving cost so much
They donāt need Rajat to have such a large family.a girl like anvi would have suited wonderfully with a naughty playboy like lucky
Aman mrunmayee look like extras.. there is something very very off with the way people act .. and mouth their dialogues in Ghum ..
I was reading about Savi being called 'unpaid nanny', which I also hate, not about her being housewife or jobless, but 'Nanny' is the word which always bothered me.
Ishita was called that many times. Shagun went ahead and always called her 'aaya'. Subbu's mother, always laughed at Ishita's plight, that she had to marry a divorcee, to become a mother. Multiple times she was rebuked for her behavior by Raman, but nothing changed, Ishita was always looked down.
In the initial days, Raman didn't buy the idea of a stranger Ishita loving Ruhi so much, if anything went wrong with Ruhi, even with her grades at school, then he taunts Ishita saying, 'Ishima banne ka bahut shauk haina, jao yeh sambalo', loving a little girl like her own has also been a curse to Ishita, she was taunted, called names, was judged at every single given opportunity. Shagun was way more respected at times, because she has given her mighty womb to Ruhi for nine months and gave her birth
, but Ruhi was unwanted child to Shagun, she gave birth because aborting Ruhi would have costed her life.
Ishita was not shown breaking down at their taunts, she just strongly believed that Ruhi mattered to her the most, and no one is gonna accept her like a mother to Ruhi in true sense.Just Ruhi mattered to her, nothing else, and many times Ishita who was a born jagatmataš, turned out to be very selfish whenever her relationship with Ruhi as at stake. She was fooling around Shagun, not revealing to her that she's marrying Raman himself for Ruhi's custody
, she runs away with Ruhi when her custody was about to be given to Shagun, and post leap Raman-Shagun were about to get married, and Ishita didn't want to disturb their lives, she felt Shagun deserved Raman, but Ruhi demands that IshRa should get married again if she has to stay with them , then Ishita right away accepts to marry Raman not considering how would Shagun feel
, that was my favorite scene though
.
Till the end of the show, Ishita was taunted, called names, have been called baanjh, have been called someone who doesn't know what motherhood is, till the damn end of the show. Not just the show, there are numerous threads in YHM forum even, where people made lengthy lengthy posts, describing how they see Ishita more like a nanny rather than a mother to Ruhi
. I was just so suprised at their explanations. No words at all
After watching YHM for almost 6 years, I concluded that women like Ishita will never be accepted as a mother, how much ever she loved Ruhi. She has to fight the battle till the end, Ishita fought till the end, Ruhi remained the one who brought sanity and peace in her to fight back. Fight back her tears. Savi also has to. See her character in that light.
Today's episode was quite nice
I liked the continuation from yesterday's episode and how it ended between Savi-Shree. Poor girl was torn between her mind and heart, yet did the right thing.
Little Sai is the cutest.
The way she kept kissing Savi and assured her that she'll do anything for her, it just brought a smile in my face automatically.

I'm surprised that they have modified the picnic scene a little and focused more on SaRaj. It's good that Savi made it clear how hurt she was. It was saddening when she stood there alone and Rajat kept looking at her through the rear-view mirror.

Also, I found it quite adorable when Sai spread the scarf over Rajat before taking the selfie. The kid is really adorable.
I guess the real drama will begin tomorrow.
On a side note, do you guys also feel they are trying too hard to promote Deewaniyat?

As if, if it worked and Deewaniyat got hit, they would replace Ghum with the show?

Thank you for writing this post!
I'm not sure if we share the same sentiments about both the shows which is perfectly alright, but I really needed to see that at least some people understood that motherhood isn't just about giving birth.
For me, YHM was always about IshRu because I felt Raman's love was extremely conditional. He knew the moster his son had become yet, blamed Ishita for killing him and said she deserved to be a "Banjh". And it wasn't the first time - while he brought Nidhi into their lives, he blamed Ishita for Ruhi's death and drove her to commit suicide.
Till the very end, Ruhi truly loved her and that's what mattered the most to Ishita.
Which is why this UNPAID NANNY comment hurt so much. Because ultimately that means a woman must give birth to become a mother. Her love or sacrifice doesn't deserve any praise.
So thank you, once again....

Yes, even I am glad that they're doing small yet meaningful changes in scenes, but those are not impactful enough...well, atleast yet... Hope makers would focus more on Saraj in this track....Originally posted by: Nush_Rat

Bold - If makers are not gonna address savi's past trauma, her journey and slowly make old savi came back again, then let it be. We don't want Ishita 2.0....

I hope so too. With Jagtap's entry, I'm daring to wish maybe they are realizing it's about Savi and then SaiSa/SaRaj.
Also, I might be wrong because I watched the OG episodes a long time ago, but here I feel Rajat is a lot more strict with Ashka than Raman was with Shagun. But I can be mistaken too.
Bottom line is, they need to understand YHM 2.0 is not gonna work here. I remember even when it wasn't necessary or made no sense, one way or another they always brought Custody into the story as YHM was based on the novel 'Custody'.
Today when Rajat was looking at Savi, It felt as if they are focusing more on their struggle which is kind of Ghum's basis - where you are lost in someone else's love but too helpless to do anything about it.
I sincerely hope that is the case here because if only they used some of their brain cells, the show has so many thing to explore with both of these troubled individuals.

I agree. Neither do I want Ishita 2.0 nor do I want the toxicity associated with the OG Ghum. I want them to explore Savi's trauma properly and then give them a happy ending without stretching the show like a rubber band.

Well...well...well...Another overdose of rajat's ddp... Not interested at all...But hope to see savi's anger and hurt, not her being weak and a crybaby....
Well, I hate to admit but its clear that savi atleast likes rajat low key...So let her learn a lesson from this scenerio and steel her heart to stop herself from falling for him...Let her give him cold shoulder even after this fiasco finishes...
I really want savi to tell rajat that kiaan being the culprit was not his helplessness but he himself brought this upon him...that he is one who messed up things...
Well, we can only wish š¤š¤š¤..lets see ...

Oh well, we knew once Savi will learn the truth, all hell will break lose so it was kind of expected.
Rest, I have nothing against Rajat's DDP as long as the focus is equally on Savi. So let's see. All my hopes now rest on Jaggu Mama

Facts! Can't agree more. It's not about any season also. But this copy paste is meh and not at all suitable for these actors. DivAn were so good that it's impossible to not remember them
