He says when he first met Alia, and she was just a 9 year old kid when his adult self first met her. However, the context seems to be that not everyone today knows Kishore Kumar, and he’s cleverly, or manipulatively, not mentioning that she was just a 9 year old kid when he first met her. Whether he just wanted to campaign for this movie and threw his wife under the bus, or he used the situation in the moment to embarrass his wife intentionally, is honestly up for debate. Either way he knew full well that he was manipulating and omitting some facts for his own argument’s sake, so whatever trolling Alia will get from this is on him.

If after the past couple of years these two still talk about each other then either they’re both incredibly stupid or just stunningly conniving. Or both 🤷🏽‍♀️

They're trying to recreate the goofiness from that dumb blonde Prithviraj Chauhan moment of hers thinking it's 'cute'. What they don't realise is tht they're much older now and it's borderline condescending to say this, conveniently leaving out the bit about how old she was when this happened. She should have responded with " Hehehehe when I first met Ranbir he had no idea whose bed he had slept in the previous night ".

Alia was born five years after Kishore's death...and maybe (just maybe) in her filmfamily nobody talked about him while she grew up (or she just didn't listen and/or didn't get to watch movies with him)... Still, there was absolutely no need to tell it...it gives the impression (regarding the assertions both make about the partner since the marriage) that both like to paint a negative picture of the partner (like a tit for tat). Quite immature, imo.
