There is sky high difference between zpkb and qez treatment ..the first has been specifically promoted as a social cause drama on education and others set in a rural setting. I don't see any social cause tag with qez except fight for justice, it doesn't even mention justice for what? It sounds like a wishy washy theme as we have had countless dramas on this theme in the past...also gm had way more over promotion at that time...

Qej is also a social drama but having a better budget than Zard. Zard highlighted the issues of a lower economic group, so they didn’t need big houses & cars which in turn limited their budget.

People were highlighting a lead of GM’s 200ks on youtube over Zard. And now they have an issue when Farar’s lead of about 1M is highlighted

100k-200k diff was a day after the first episode aired. Difference went into millions for the first episode but no one was obsessed with keeping track of views of both shows, because we are not producers who make money if a show gets more views.

We can't say anything about the budget, it always takes more effort and money to take the whole team out of city for shoots, rather than shooting in one or two houses/ locations. Yeh producers he bta saktey hai. Both projects have only one A-lister which implies low budget.

Well if it's indeed a social cause drama, it is marketing was not such as all I saw were leads making moony eyes at each other and throwing plates all over each other...no sign or clue of what the actual social cause is either in the promos or synopsis ...anyway hope it fares better than GM...

Indeed. Despite the fact that the genres of zard, gm, and even mj were entirely different, comparisons would be made between them.

Falana is reportedly in the lead as it has 1.4m in 12 hrs, while the others have 1.2m although gm was a high budget commercial drama and should have garnered more views, whereas mj and zard were both low budget social projects.

However, some people find it funny now that qej and farra are now being compared.

ZPKB was a social based drama is a biggest joke of 2024 in ptv Industry. Where FL was so desperate behind ML and during whole drama her only agenda was to get attention from hero. Makers just added 2,3 scenes of social based issues and marketed this show as some social revolutionary serial for getting a tag of different content.

You are never around when these things happen but will always jump over us when we call them out. It used to happen every week btw.

Budget will increase when they have to make new sets whether they are shooting indoors or outdoors. Zard’s sets were low budget & Qej’s are better looking. I anyway liked Qej more than Farar so I ain’t getting into this vs that. I had an issue with the hypocrisy only.

GM used to lead on Sunday slot among all channels in terms of YouTube views but that time its views were termed as fake or bought . Now suddenly views are genuine When it comes to other dramas

I think they believe zarnab's monologue about being future maa of the countrys future kids and giving birth to future generations is equal to zards family planning message. That's why can't differentiate between a commercial drama and a social project
