I always disassociate one Gen from other while viewing. That's how the makers also treat the show. The only reason they associate is for recall value.
For me ruhi is poppy ki ruh who lost her parents, poppy,billa boy at young age which made her insecure person. Goenkas as guardians failed to address her issues.
