Well, they won't admit to have fudged numbers by paying for empty seats, right? So, personally, I just take the numbers as such (and don't believe in them) ...basically, I do that with all numbers that can get manipulated...with award polls, e.g., and also boxoffice.

I dont think the people behind singham have a lot of celebrate, especially with a 300+ crore budget. Not sure why this movie even costed so much? Was it all spend on paying the starcast?

A third of the budget could well have been the pay for the cast, I think. Ajay as co-producer may have taken less + a sharing deal

Exactly. Singham with a star studded affair was the loser in this clash. Good on KA and team as they are actually giving Singham a run for their money.
