Kriti is exceptional but omg Shaheer!! He is a revelation. Known for his soft roles on tv rather at time when tv was at itspeak he was the ‘Shah’ of tv quite literally( And i was never a fan of him😂) but people loved him like crazy. But here, he is sooo splendid!! Not just he acts the part, but looks the part. That mysterious aura, brashness and sadakchaapness of a rich Delhi/UP guy is done so well !! And when he takes to his evil self, he is hate worthy. High time BW stops wasting it’s money on talentless nepos, and give good actors some worthy roles because tv has many of them.

Absolutely loved it. Kriti knocked it out of the park, not only her best performance but one of the best performances in last five years. I officially became her fan with this movie, she was just perfect both as Sailee and Saumya.

Shaheer is also such a good actor, some of scenes he performed so well. It was amazing to watch.

Kajol, unfortunately the weakest link. I think they were going towards Singham meets Chilbul pandey vibe but she just couldn't deliver and looked like a cranky old woman most of the times.

Pace for the movie and message was really good.

Kriti deserves all the awards for this one, it was so good to see someone act and perform so convincingly out of the newer generation.

Moral of the movie: besides the obvious messaging, Kriti was right when she said if right opportunities are given, even she can deliversmiley32smiley32smiley32

Also watching shaheer act made me sad that Bollywood is too nepo oriented to see real talent like his. He not only completely changed his tv inage from this role, he also made me hate his character by the end of it.

I didn’t like the movie at all. There was no thrill in this thriller. No pace, no keeping you guessing or on the edge of your seat kind of plot. Just flat. Disappointing on all accounts except the acting from the main cast. They were all good but a wasted potential and waste of time according to me. I guess it is a good opportunity for Shaheer though. He’s being noticed and talked about so good for him.

I thought the first half was so power packed and damn that horrible domestic violence scene..I literally felt the chills in my bones. Kriti and Shaheer both acted out of their skin in this one. This is definitely Kriti’s best performance and I don’t even like her but this is the first time I felt that she has the potential to be known as a great actor. Having said that/ the second half was simply a train wreck and just collapsed like a pack of cards/ Kajol was SIMPLY ATROCious. She has forgotten how to act and I can’t believe she is the same woman who I used to love during Gupt and Dushman days/ highlighting DV - kudos to Kriti’s PH for taking that up..but did anyone feel that Alia already did something similar with Darlingsss? I mean thematically..but no complaints if it is highlighted more.it is a reality in many households and it is the most horrifying thing a woman goes through besides so many other things a woman is subject to in India

Apart from just having watched a very engaging movie relative to the story, charaters and performances, I very much like the fact that the movie showed the impact of violence on children not getting articulated. Everything that happened after the homicide of the mother was a result of fear, false family loyalty and guilt feelings.

I found the statement at the end very important: that it needs a lot of courage to denounce the violence of a close family member, especially for children.
