In her video uploaded on Instagram, Somy Ali has accused Sonu Nigam saying the he “duped” her. She recalled the incident when she invited Sonu to her chat show. She revealed that he spoke very intellectually on her show due to which she developed a lot of respect for him.
She said, “A couple of years ago, I started a talk show and interviewed a few people. One of them spoke very intellectually and shared a lot of wisdom. I was in awe of everything. I thought he was someone who believed in what he was preaching.”
Somy further said, “When I tried to reach out for his benefit to get some sort of project in London, he dismissed my text. I highly respected this gentleman.” Somy claimed that Sonu went on her chat show because she was affiliated with someone in Mumbai and the singer had to prove to the other person that, ‘I was on your ex-girlfriend’s show’.
In the caption of the video she further described the situation in the caption that read, “This is what people are and how they take advantage of you. @sonunigamofficial Then he makes videos of others who treated him poorly. I am shell shocked is and would be an understatement. I had the utmost respect for this person. Judge a book by its cover People! At least this one! Because trust me I was duped and how is unimaginable. I am still in disbelief. Oh by the way this man who played me is Sonu Nigam. Be wary.”
She added, “He likes to make videos poor him and how he was used and abused. These kind of people are sociopaths. I still love his songs though. Just didn’t expect him to stoop down to a sewage level.”
