It's sad what they have done with Jhanak's character.....

I am sticking with the show only because of KrusHi chemistry...kyunki story as I said is beyond repair now...even Runak scenes don't generate the emotions like it used to generate before aag track..

Makers only want us to contribute to social media buzz...they generated maximum buzz in aag track by keeping Ani mute...they will generate greater buzz by making J not owning her love for Ani and resorting to shitty escapes....all this shitty stuff is generating better business compared to when they used to show good quality stuff...so better we don't expect anything logical and worthy content from them..

This is so true, I remember the internet breaking when people went crazy during AniShi marriage, I could not sleep I would keep on waiting for epis to come cuz I was like there's no way Ani will be married to Arshi and I feel like that's what they want....

Us to just hopelessly keep on talking about the show, create buzz and hate on Leena but as a whole show is getting talked about a lot...Maybe we should vouch for AniShi union instead so we get RuNak union -_-

At that time I was watching ghum1 and avoided any other show. uss ek show ne hi bahut sar aur dil ka dard kiya huwa tha, toh dusra show dekhne ki himmat hi na huwi.

When I saw Imlie being praised, I watched a few epi after Fahman Khan joined. As a mother of teenage daughter it had bothered me that Sumbul was so young and had to do intense romantic scenes.... (not moralizing it but sharing my pov)

In Star Ravivar show she was hyper and in BB17 she was so lost. I felt sad for her. Sajid Khan gave her right advice that she need to be with her own age girls, go to college, get education and understand herself what is right for her.

You are not alone - my daughter was unhappy with me watching the show. Gash was 37 and FK 32 to Sumbul's 16 and 17.

Not sure abt - the had to do - tho. Most times its a choice one has and makes? Not everyone has the same opportunities, talent, protection in life - and each ones life upbringing boundaries are so diff - its hard to hazard an opinion without being judgemental.

Here in the US, some 16 year olds are these days more mature than the 25 year old of even a decade ago. While in general I do not like to see exploitation, these days it's hard to be able to understand and standardise across the board.

Sumbul had me personally stumped for a long time....so witty wise talented mature in some ways and incredibly stunted insecure needy and challenged in others. Good or bad - right or wrong, I'm not qualified to comment - but she was made a mark with her talent but I'm not sure she was able to sustain her growth and original impact.

Imlie S1 entertained in a diff way, gave me an appreciation for dialogue writing, direction, deep trauma with some toxic content :) and also a first time experience wrt addiction to an ongoing TV show. It def was an experience.

I was originally worried getting into Jhanak with what seemed to be a similar setup. I seem to be a sucker for intense shows.

One of my first and foremost reason to watch this serial was the depiction of Ani. I went back and watched this serial for Ani and his depiction… yes Runak story was a huge draw because of their personalities but Ani as an ML - superlative.

There is no crowding of space in any moment of anger. He keeps his distance. The fact that he eschews violence as a way to resolve issues is refreshing in this narrative.
thst forehead scene you refer to… Krushal aced it. So much affection and care you can read in that scene….

Agree - but violation is not limited to the physical; verbal violation is also a thing...and while Ani aces control in the physical sense (when he is in his senses that is); he uses words as weapons. Still a very distinct, diff and well characterized ML - tho not perfect. Its Krushal's depiction of Ani that is fascinating.

I think in today's episode Guruji foreshadowed Ani coming and in fact that is what will make J regain her full memory, currently she is struggling with her adhi-adhuri memory. Guruji and BBG mentioned like 5 times "SURAJ KI PEHLI KIRAN", jab suraj ki pehli kiran tum par aake giregi, tumhe saab kuch saaf saaf dikhne lagegi.

So, hoping J wont fake her death and stay away and Ani actually comes finds her and helps her regain her memory *fingers crossed* As per Hiba's IV this is what she said also, that Ani will come and she will gain her memory back only then...

I hope this reunion (post ILY) is much better than that of the Mumbai one....I felt like the Mumbai one needed a lot more but had very less. There were a lot of hype created on social media with reels and all but the actual meeting in Mumbai was kinda pheeka to me...

I really hope they have some nice things planned for Ashram reunion >.>
