I don't think they will stick to Gita Press version where Sita asks to see some holy places and Ram orders Lakshman to just leave her there.In Ramanand Sagar version also,it was Sita who decides to go by herself .Because this will put Ram's, character in bad ligh,the total anti thesis of what has been portrayed till date.A brave king resorting to on non confrontation and no explanation at all...Total negative character development.
