Alia's whole career is based on copying others. She wanted to sing herself since Parineeti and Shraddha both were. She wanted to wear sarees that suit tall women like Deepika and Katrina but are ill-suited for her own body type.

Right down to career choices as well. A spy movie to copy Deepika and Katrina. Period Bhansali films to copy Deepika.

Well, not sure if either of them really sang! 😄Or was it auto tune or any other technology.

To be fair, Alia sounded more believable and natural than Shraddha.
