I really like her character! She started off so pathetic and mousey but she doesn't seem to be taking any crap from Kajri. It's refreshing to see a strong character back in the show, who doesn't just start crying and sulking every time someone is mean to her. She doesn't seem to take any nonsense, a trait which this stupid family desperately needs. I hope she continues this way, but I do not hold out much hope. For now though, I like her a lot.

And dont forget flicking off Menaka and refusing to make sweet on the day Saras was sent to the asylum , saying it was inappropriate and that she just didnt feel like it . That took guts as a new bahu , and showed a striking mind of her own .....something the Garodias totally lack . Also it showed grace and dignity of character . I like Niyati too . Hope they dont destroy her like Laxmi who started off beautifully then took abuse from Karan , and later , showed insensitivity under the name of spirit in her dad;s sickness and forgave Yuvraj but not Karan . They do screw up the good characters .
